My copy of Stargate Continuum finally arrived from Amazon.com today. I ordered it over two months ago and, due to me messing up my orders, it took a while to get to me.
However, it was well worth waiting for!
I adore the Stargate series – no matter how cheesey, or how full of holes people say it is, I think it is great stuff with some really great actors (not only good looking, but great actors).
Stargate Continuum is set sometime during or after Stargate Season 10 and deals with the machinations of Baal, the Goa’uld who features in Season 10, and his attempts to avoid extinction. Our intrepid SG1 adventurers, Sam Carter, Cam Mitchell and Daniel Jackson are caught in the middle of Baals planning and must use their combined brain and brawn to succeed.
I just love the interactions of the team – I always have done and I didn’t think too hard on the whole time paradox thing – the looming headache of trying to sort it out was too much to deal with! The story line though was fantastic and, I did pick one of the more obvious twists but missed the flow on effect.
Richard Dean Anderson (RDA) features in the movie as Jack O’Neill. RDA is fantastic as Jack O’Neill and he looses none of the appeal in this movie.
10 out of 10 for me! Great movie to unwind with. Highly recommended.
